Lord Bexley Arms, Bexleyheath c.1910

The Lord Bexley Arms was on the south side of the Broadway at the Market Place. The original pub was built as early as 1826 but in 1897 following the acquisition by Truman, Hanbury and Buxton of London it was completely reconstructed on a grander scale with the addition of hotel accommodation as well as stabling. It finally closed in May 1979 for the building of the Bexleyheath shopping centre.
